The Celtics have taken on Stephon Marbury and his funky attitude, not to say everything that went on in New York was his fault but that not an excuse for a privileged adult not to act as a professional. What helped him get land in Boston is a history with Kevin Garnett. I’m sure he needed KG’s blessings to get signed. Although Garnett is now injured they still have not shown any signs they needed a Marbury. If they were in dire need of a back-up point guard surely they would have gotten one lone before now and not waited until one quarter of their season was remaining. They have had a very successful season thus far sans Marbury. Considering his track record with coaches and teammates, I don’t see a change on the horizon or him as an asset.
