Congress must have better things to do than chase ghost. They aren't going to convict Bonds of anything. Whoever has a vendetta against him needs to take up darts. They are looking under rocks and ignoring the obvious. For years it has been easy for the media to condemn and point fingers at the Raiders and Cowboys for their habit of taking in misfits. But I have never heard a whimper, snicker or slander hurled at the Steinbrenner family. The last four(4) leading men in the steroid era (Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Jason Giambi, and A-Rod) all have the same familiar backdrop at their news conferences, NEW YORK YANKEES.
Are we sure the "just win baby" moniker originated on the left coast. Now even I can take a joke but is there anything "the Boss" won't do to win a pennant. If the Feds want to know the truth about steroids, whether these high profile athletes were using, ask the Steinbrenner family. It's unimaginable a businessman with the staff and smarts of Steinbrenner would invest millions of dollars in an athlete and not know he's consuming steroids or mike & Ike's.
